ACT records eleventh road death in 2021

ACT Policing is investigating the death of a woman after a single-vehicle collision between a car and a tree at the intersection of Arrabri Street and Horse Park Drive, Ngunnawal about midday today (Monday, 27 December 2021).

Police and emergency services remain at the scene investigating the circumstances surrounding the collision, and both roads remain closed at the intersection. Motorists are asked to avoid the area if possible.

ACT Ambulance Service Paramedics also attended and despite their efforts the 33-year-old woman passed away in a Canberra hospital.

This will be the eleventh fatality on ACT Roads this year.

ACT Policing’s Major Collision Team is conducting an investigation and will prepare a report for the coroner.
