Arrested for drug trafficking

A 28-year-old Belconnen man will face the ACT Magistrate’s Court today (Thursday, 3 December 2020) charged with drug trafficking.

Yesterday, ACT Policing executed search warrants on the man, his residence and his vehicle.

During the searches police located several bundles of cash, approximately 96 grams of a substance suspected of being cocaine, with a street value of more than $35 000.

The man was arrested and lodged at the ACT Watch House. He will face court today, charged with trafficking in a controlled drug other than cannabis, money laundering and drug possession.
