Camping and parking in the ACT

ACT Policing has been requested by the National Capital Authority to engage with people who are illegally camping and parking in the Parliamentary Triangle.  

People wishing to visit the ACT are advised that there are numerous alternative legal camping locations including those listed below.  

The rights of people to peacefully protest is always acknowledged by ACT Policing, however when illegal actions take place – including camping without a permit and parking illegally, then the people responsible will be dealt with in accordance with the law.
