CCTV released aggravated robbery in Deakin

ACT Policing is renewing its appeal for witnesses to the aggravated robbery that occurred at the Canberra Deakin Football Club in Deakin on Monday (March 20).

ACT Policing’s investigations are ongoing with police releasing CCTV footage of the robbery and urge anyone who may be able to identify the offenders to come forward. 

Around 10.45pm, two males entered the club armed with knives and threatened a staff member. The staff member complied with the offenders demands, handing over a sum of cash before the male offenders fled the area.

The first male is described as Caucasian in appearance, approximately 175cm (5’9”) tall and of medium build. He was wearing a black hooded jumper, black pants with a black mask covering his face and carrying a black and blue duffle bag.

The second male is described as between 170cm-175cm (5’7”-5’9”) tall and of medium build. He was wearing a black hooded jumper, black pants with a black mask covering his face.
