Cocaine, cash and firearms seized in Ngunnawal

Members of ACT Policing’s Taskforce Nemesis seized drugs, cash and firearms in an early morning search of a Ngunnawal residence yesterday (Thursday, 19 November 2020).

Police entered the home at about 5.30am where they seized more than 300 grams of cocaine, drug paraphernalia, cash as well as two firearms and ammunition.

Investigations are continuing and police expect charges to be laid once forensic analysis is complete.

Detective Acting Inspector Mark Steel said the search warrant was another good result for Taskforce Nemesis.

“Taskforce Nemesis continues to apply pressure to those who are involved in organised crime including outlaw motor cycle gangs,” Detective Acting Inspector Steel said.
