Driver of a vehicle that struck a young pedestrian sought by police

This morning (Tuesday, 30 November 2021) between 8:30am and 8:45am, a 10-year-old girl on her way to Macgregor Primary School was hit by a vehicle while she was crossing a pedestrian crossing on her bike.

The collision occurred at a crossing on Osburn Drive near the intersection with Cannan Crescent, Macgregor.

The girl suffered minor injuries and was able to proceed to her school where the ACT Ambulance Service was called to assist.

The driver of a white, older vehicle, possibly a station wagon did not stop and provide assistance. Police would like the driver to come forward to assist with the investigation.
