Face-fit image released after child approach in Rivett

ACT Policing is seeking the public’s assistance to identify a man following a child approach in Rivett last weekend.  

About 2.30pm on Sunday (6 November 2022) a man in a grey 4WD utility allegedly made multiple approaches to a 13-year-old girl while she was walking her dog through Rivett.  

The man is described as being of Caucasian appearance, fair complexion, large build, dark coloured eyes, bald with slight hair stubble and no facial hair. He was wearing a light coloured t-shirt and shorts and white knee length socks. A face-fit image of the man has been released to assist with identification. 

The grey 4WD utility was described as having side steps and a rear tub tray.  

Police are seeking to identify the man and would also like anyone who witnessed the interaction or the grey 4WD driving around the suburb of Rivett on Sunday afternoon to come forward.
