At approximately 11.30pm last night (Tuesday, 15 August) General Duties officers from Tuggeranong Patrol conducted a roadside Random Breath Test, which returned a positive indication. Further investigation revealed that the male is currently a disqualified driver and he is subject to a blood alcohol limit of zero.

The male was conveyed to the station where further testing returned a blood alcohol concentration of 0.125. The male was charged with one count of driving whilst disqualified, driving under the influence and bailed to appear before court at a later date with bail conditions not to drive a motor vehicle.

At approximately 5.40am on the same date, Tuggeranong Patrol members intercepted the same male driving his vehicle in Kambah, this time returning a blood alcohol level of 0.029.

The male was subsequently arrested and conveyed to the ACT Watch House where he was charged with another count of driving while disqualified, driving while under the influence of alcohol and breach of bail conditions.

He will face ACT Magistrates Court this morning (Wednesday, 16 August).
