Kaleen collision brings ACT road toll to 18

A 24-year-old man has died following a single vehicle collision in Kaleen last night (Saturday, 22 October 2022).  

About 10pm, police and emergency services responded to reports of a collision on Maribyrnong Avenue, Kaleen.  

The man was travelling northbound in a white Nissan Navara ute when the vehicle has struck a tree near Macumba Place.  

Sadly, he died at the scene.  

ACT Policing’s Major Collision Team are conducting an investigation into the collision and a report will be prepared for the Coroner.   

This death brings the ACT road toll for 2022 to 18.
