Man arrested for extradition to NSW

ACT Policing has arrested a 32-year-old man following a police operation in Kambah on Friday (6 May).

The man was wanted in relation to two outstanding First Instance Warrants in NSW and one in the ACT.

Around 12.30pm, a vehicle linked to the offender was located at a residence in Kambah and the offender was arrested a short time later without incident.

The man was conveyed to the ACT Watch House and will face the ACT Magistrates Court this morning (7 May) where police will be opposing bail until extradition to NSW can be facilitated.
