A 22-year-old Holt man is expected to face the ACT Magistrates Court today (Friday, 11 June 2020) after he was arrested yesterday.

About 9.50am yesterday (Thursday, 11 June 2020) ACT Policing received reports that a man had been stabbed after an argument at a residence in Holt.

Police arrived at the scene a short time later and spoke with several witnesses, including the injured man. He received treatment at the scene from ACT Ambulance Service paramedics, and was taken to hospital for further treatment.

Investigations led police to a second residence in Holt, where the alleged offender was located. After a short period of negotiation, the man was arrested and taken to the ACT Watch House.

The man is scheduled to face court this morning charged with intentionally wounding.
