Man to face court in connection with Gordon shooting incident

A 19-year-old Gordon man will face the ACT Magistrates Court today in connection with the shooting incident that occurred in Gordon on Friday, 10 February 2017.

The man was arrested yesterday (Monday, 20 February) by detectives from ACT Policing Criminal Investigations.

The man has been charged with intentional threat to inflict grievous bodily harm, aggravated burglary, discharge loaded firearms at a person (two counts), discharge firearm endangering life, possess ammunition and unauthorised possession and use of a firearm.

Police are still urging anyone who may have any information that could assist the investigation to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or via the Crime Stoppers ACT website. Information can be provided anonymously.
