Man to face court following targeted shooting in Narrabundah

A 31-year-old man will face the ACT Magistrates Court today (Wednesday 4 November 2020) following a targeted shooting incident in Narrabundah yesterday.

About 2.40pm, police received reports of shots fired on Goyder Street, Narrabundah.

On arrival at the location, police confirmed a number of shots had been fired into a house and a car.

Officers established a crime scene and AFP Forensics Services attended to examine the area.

While no one was hurt during the incident, residents were at home at the time of the shooting.

Police executed a search warrant at a property in Wright about 11.30pm yesterday. The 31-year-old man was arrested and taken to the ACT Regional Watch House.

The man will face court on charges including act endangering life, discharging a firearm and property damage.
