Man to face Court for Holt aggravated robbery

Police have arrested a 27-year-old Holt man in relation to an aggravated robbery at the 7-Eleven Service Station in Holt on Sunday 22 January 2017.

About 10pm a male entered the store, threatened staff with a firearm and made demands for cash, before fleeing on foot.

Police appealed for information from the community regarding the identity of this male and information received led police to a suspect. After further investigations, police conducted a search warrant at an address in Holt on Sunday (7 May 2017).

The man will face the ACT Magistrates Court this morning (Tuesday, 9 May 2017) charged with aggravated robbery.

Detective Acting Station Sergeant Stephen Ladd thanked the community for the information provided.
