Man sought over February driveby incident

ACT Policing has identified a 30-year-old Isaacs man as a key person of interest in the February shooting incident in Dalziel Street, Gowrie.

The man, John Platt, is currently subject to a First Instant Warrant (arrest on sight) on an unrelated matter.

In the February 2 incident, five shots were fired from a passing vehicle, believed to be a Subaru Impreza hatchback with ACT registration, into the Gowrie house. One occupant in the house suffered minor injury.

The Impreza was later located burnt in Uriarra. 

Police believe Mr Platt is closely linked to the Gowrie incident and can provide information vital to the ongoing police investigation.
