Multiple commercial burglaries in Belconnen and Gungahlin today

Seeking witnesses

ACT Policing is seeking the public’s assistance to identify people responsible for five burglaries in Belconnen and Ngunnawal early this morning. 

Between 3am and 4.30am (Tuesday, 4 June 2024), police received reports of several businesses in being damaged and burgled. 
•    About 3.10am, a group of people attempted to gain entry to a petrol station in Holt but were unsuccessful.  
•    About 3.20am, a fast-food store in Charnwood was broken into and tills were stolen. 
•    About 3.40am, a pharmacy in Florey was burgled and a register drawer was taken.
•    About 4am, a takeaway in Ngunnawal was broken into.  
•    About 4.15am, a takeaway shop in Evatt was burgled and a cash tray was stolen. 
ACT Policing is asking local residents or anyone who was in the vicinity of the shops between 3am and 4.30am this morning to check CCTV footage and dashcams for suspicious individuals or vehicles.
