Offender identified for cat boarding house burglary

ACT Policing has identified a 39-year-old Coombs man who they believe was responsible for a burglary at a cat boarding house in Weston on Saturday, 17 April 2021.

Information received from the public and forensic evidence obtained during the police investigation identified the man. Police attended his residence on Saturday evening, 24 April 2021, where several items that police believe will further link him to the burglary were seized as evidence.

The man will be summonsed to court on a date to be fixed.

The cats, that were reported missing following the burglary, have not been located.
