One person deceased following incident in Page

About 9am today (Saturday, 20 February 2021) police were called to a disturbance on Braine Street in Page.

On arrival, police spoke with a man who had significant injuries. 

Police then identified another man who rushed towards them and was subsequently tasered.

A short time later, another injured person and a deceased person were located.

Three people, including the man arrested by police, were treated at the scene by ACT Ambulance Service paramedics and taken to hospital with life threatening injuries.

A crime scene was established, and an investigation into the circumstances of the incident is underway. Police remain at the location.

There are no further people believed to be involved in the incident.

Police want to reassure the public that there are no going public safety concerns in relation to this incident.
