Police arrest motorcycle gang president for drug trafficking

ACT Policing has arrested the president of the Satudarah outlaw motorcycle gang (OMCG) for drug trafficking and proceeds of crime offences.

The 41-year-old Nicholls man was stopped by an ACT Policing mobile patrol in Moncrieff about 3am today (Tuesday, 22 September 2020).

When police searched the man’s car they discovered more than $8,000 in cash and 11 grams of a substance suspected to be methamphetamine with an estimated street value in excess of $8,000.

The man was charged with possessing property suspected of being proceeds of crime and trafficking a controlled drug other than cannabis and is scheduled to face the ACT Magistrates Court today.
