Police generally satisfied with ‘Groovin the Moo’

UPDATE

ACT Policing were generally satisfied with the behaviour of the majority of crowd that attended the annual ‘Groovin the Moo’ festival which was held at the University of Canberra yesterday (Sunday, 7 May 2017).

Police detained three young persons, two for Intoxication and Protection and the other for trespass (fence jumping) after making a number of attempts to illegally enter the venue. All three were later released into the care of a parent.

Fence jumping posed a significant issue for event organisers and police.

Police also made six drug seizures.

Despite these incidents, police were generally pleased with the behaviour of the majority of festival goers.
