Police investigate fatal collision on Monaro Highway

Three people have died on our roads

ACT Policing is investigating a two vehicle collision on the Monaro Highway this morning (Friday, 31 March) in which male has died.

About 6.25am, police responded to a report of a collision on the Monaro Highway towards Williamsdale between a car and a cyclist.

ACT Ambulance Service attended and the male cyclist was pronounced deceased at the scene.

ACT Policing's Collision Investigation and Reconstruction Team (CIRT) are examining the circumstances surrounding the collision. A report will be prepared for the Coroner.

This is the third person to have died on ACT roads this year.

Police are urging anyone who may have any information that could assist police to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or report via the Crime Stoppers ACT website.
