Police investigate serious collision in Griffith

ACT Policing is investigating a serious two vehicle collision that occurred in Griffith yesterday (Friday 21 April).

About 6.14pm, police responded to reports of a collision between a car and motorcycle, outside McDonalds on Captain Cook Crescent, Griffith.

ACT Ambulance Service attended and transported the 54-year-old male motorcyclist to The Canberra Hospital. The driver of the car was uninjured.

ACT Policing's Collision Investigation and Reconstruction Team (CIRT) are examining the circumstances surrounding the collision.

Police are urging anyone who may have witnessed the collision or have any information that could assist police to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or report via the Crime Stoppers ACT website.
