Police praise Skyfire 2017 crowd

ACT Policing has praised the behaviour of the large crowd which attended the Skyfire fireworks event over Lake Burley Griffin on Saturday (March 18).

Four missing children were reported during the evening, but were reunited with their parents.

Three young persons were detained for under-age drinking before being returned to their parents and referred to the ACT Health Alcohol Diversion Program.

One young person will be summonsed for supplying cannabis and a 21-year-old female will be summonsed for supplying alcohol to three persons under the age of 18 years.

One adult was detained for being intoxicated and disorderly, while one person was issued a Criminal Infringement Notice (CIN) for Urinating in Public.  

One young person was arrested for Breaching his Bail.
