Police seek CCTV and dash cam footage following three aggravated robberies

ACT Policing is seeking CCTV and dash-cam footage of three aggravated robberies.

The first incident occurred in Ross Smith Crescent, Scullin about 1.30am on Saturday (7 September 2019) during which a man’s phone was stolen.

Police suspect a black hatchback was used in this incident.

About 3.25pm yesterday (Sunday, 8 September 2019), police received reports of a Holden Astra being driven in an erratic, dangerous manner in Rivett.

Shortly after, the owner of a black Volkswagen Golf was threatened by two occupants of the Holden Astra.

The Golf was stolen by two women and both vehicles left the scene in the direction of the Rivett shops.

Police have since recovered both the Holden Astra and Volkswagen Golf.

The third incident occurred earlier today (Monday, 9 September 2019) when police received a report of a silver BMW being stolen by two offenders from a unit complex in Turner.   

Officers are investigating possible linkages between these three incidents and the people responsible.
