Police seek information regarding Calwell collision and theft

ACT Policing is seeking information from anyone who may have witnessed the theft of a motorcycle involved in a collision in Calwell on Sunday afternoon (8 November 2020).

About 2.25pm, Police responded to a single vehicle collision on Duggan Street involving a red Honda CRF motorcycle.

Police believe the motorcycle was stolen shortly before the collision with the rider travelling from Outtrim Avenue to the intersection of Duggan Street and Finch Crescent before crashing.

A silver Hyundai Accent was following the rider at the time of the collision and police believe it may also have been involved in the theft.

Police are appealing for anyone with dash-cam footage in the Calwell area around the time of the theft and collision (2pm to 2.30pm) to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or via the Crime Stoppers ACT website. Please quote reference 6669083. Information can be provided anonymously.
