Stolen school property recovered

After lengthy investigations, ACT Policing has recovered most of the tablet computers stolen from the Red Hill Primary School around nine weeks ago.

Police were called to the school after a burglary was reported at the premises on April 7 this year and 43 new Apple iPads stolen from an office.

Investigations and enquiries into the burglary and theft remained ongoing, culminating in police speaking with a 37-year old man at City Police Station yesterday (Tuesday, June 17).

Police recovered 32 of the stolen iPads which were being kept at a Queanbeyan residence and are making further enquiries as to recovering the others.
 
The alleged offender will be summonsed to appear in court on a date to be fixed.
