About 12.35pm, officers from Operation TORIC observed the pair travelling in a grey Subaru Liberty enter the underground car park of the Canberra Outlet Centre.

The pair were subsequently arrested, with police deploying a conducted energy weapon in order to take the man into custody.

The woman has been charged with drug trafficking, fail to appear in court and to answer an existing arrest warrant.

They are both expected to face court today where police will oppose bail.
