Traffic disruption expected in airport precinct

ACT Policing is expecting protest activity on the roads surrounding Canberra Airport this afternoon.

The protests will be monitored, and traffic control measures will be in place to minimise the impact on legitimate airport users; however, it is likely traffic heading to and from the airport will experience delays.

Airline passengers are advised to allow extra time to get to the airport before their flights. 

Drivers who can avoid the area are asked to do so if possible.
