Two arrested in relation to 2015 Gowrie shooting

A 32-year-old Richardson woman and a 20-year-old Jerrabomberra woman have been arrested in relation to a shooting incident that occurred in Gowrie last year (2 February 2015).

On 2 February 2015, police were called to the Gowrie residence after reports that shots had been fired into the home. 
  
On the same day, police located a burnt out gold Subaru WRX in Uriarra, which police believed was connected to the incident.
 
ACT Policing’s Criminal Investigations commenced an extensive investigation into the incidents and arrested the two women yesterday (Thursday 7 April).

The 32-year-old woman has been charged with being an accessory after the fact to an act endangering life, concealing evidence and obstructing an investigation. 
 
The 20-year-old woman has been charged with aid and abet arson of a vehicle.

Both women will appear before Court at a later date.
