Two girls missing from Red Hill

UPDATE: Brielle and Carla have been found safe and well.

ACT Policing is seeking the public’s assistance to locate two 9-year-old girls missing from Red Hill this morning (Tuesday, 29 March).

About 11.30 am Brielle and Carla left the school grounds of Red Hill Primary School, and despite a large police search, have not been seen since. Both girls have left their school bags at the school.

It is believed the girls may be headed to Conder as they have done so several times before.

Brielle is described as approximately 130cm tall, small build, dark blonde hair in a high ponytail, wearing a Red Hill Primary School Uniform (green shirt with a yellow edge on the collar and green shorts) with pink and silver joggers. Brielle may be wearing a black hoodie with pink writing.

Carla is described as approximately 130cm tall, small build, brown curly hair with a red tinge in a ponytail with a long fringe off to the side. She was wearing a Red Hill Primary School Uniform (plain green polo shirt, green hoodie and long green pants).

Police are urging anyone who may have seen the two girls or has information that could assist the search, to contact ACT Policing Operations immediately on 131 444. Please quote reference 5941133.
