ACT Policing is seeking the public’s assistance in locating a silver Toyota Kluger SUV following an alleged assault and possible abduction earlier today (Tuesday, 1 June 2021).

About 1:20 pm today, a man wearing a blue cap was seen to grab and assault a woman while on Horse Park Drive, Casey. Witnesses described the man punching the woman a number of times before forcing her into a silver Toyota Kluger SUV with ACT registration YMH11M. Police are seeking to locate the Toyota Kluger and is asking anyone with information about its location to come forward. The public is asked not to approach the vehicle or any occupants.

Police are also seeking any witnesses or dash-cam footage of the incident from earlier today on Horse Park Drive.

Anyone that has information that can assist police is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or via the Crime Stoppers ACT website. Please quote reference 6813259. Information can be provided anonymously.
