Witnesses sought to aggravated burglary in Watson

ACT Policing is seeking witnesses to an aggravated burglary at a home in Watson last night (Friday, March 17).

Around 10.40pm, a number of people entered a residence in Molesworth Street and threatened the two occupants. Both residents were assaulted, and in the course of the assaults a firearm was discharged. No one was seriously injured.

The male offenders then left the scene.

Police attended the scene and investigations are ongoing. 

Police are urging anyone who witnessed suspicious persons or vehicles in the Watson area to come forward.
