Witnesses sought to aggravated car theft

ACT Policing is seeking witnesses and information relating to an aggravated robbery resulting in the theft of a car in Macquarie yesterday afternoon (Monday, 24 May 2021).

The car, a blue 2018 model Subaru WRX STi with NSW registration CAH29F, was stolen after the owner was threatened with a weapon in a car park at the Belconnen Tennis Club, off Halloran Close, Macquarie about 5.25pm.

Police are seeking witnesses to the theft, or suspicious persons in the tennis centre car park between 5pm and 5.40pm. Police are also seeking any dash cam footage of the car near the Jamison Shopping Centre, Macquarie after 5.25pm on Monday.
