Witnesses sought to assault in Civic

ACT Policing is seeking witnesses to an assault in Civic on Tuesday evening, 3 November 2020.

About 8.40pm, a group of about six young people assaulted a woman on City Walk, between Ainslie Place and Akuna Street, Civic. The woman later attended hospital to receive treatment for her injuries.

As part of the ongoing investigation into this incident, police would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the assault who has not already spoken to police; particularly a man who confronted the offenders and assisted the woman. He is described as being bald, of solid build, and wearing shorts and a black short-sleeved shirt.
