Witnesses sought to Drakeford Drive collision on Monday

ACT Policing is seeking witnesses or dash-cam footage of a collision and erratic driving that occurred on Drakeford Drive on Monday afternoon (7 June 2021).

About 2.50pm at the intersection of Drakeford Drive and Sulwood Drive, a white Mazda 3 allegedly collided with a silver Toyota Hilux and left the scene.

A police patrol that was at the intersection at the time pursued the vehicle for a short distance however the driver failed to stop for police.

The driver was later arrested in Waramanga and the vehicle was recovered in Weston.

Police are seeking dash-cam footage or witnesses to the collision or of the Mazda 3 driving erratically before and after the collision.
