Witnesses sought to nightclub assault

ACT Policing is seeking witnesses to a cowardly assault that occurred inside the Cube nightclub on Sunday, 20 November 2016.

About 2am, a woman was standing near the bar area when an unknown man approached her. She declined to speak with him.

A short time later, the same man walked past her pulling her hair in an aggressive manner, causing her to fall to the ground.

The man quickly fled the nightclub with three other males before the female alerted security staff.

The male is described as Caucasian in appearance, around 6’ foot (183cm) tall, dark brown hair with light beard. He was wearing a blue/green checked shirt. 

ACT Policing has obtained CCTV vision of the incident and is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the male offender.
