ACT Policing is seeking the public’s assistance to locate missing 13-year-old girl Hannah McKay.

A 38-year-old man will face the ACT Magistrate’s Court today, charged with several offences including aggravated assault and making threats to kill following a family violence incident in Gilmore yesterday. 

The ACT Policing crime statistics for the first quarter of 2024 have shown a significant drop in some robbery and burglary offences.

On Sunday evening (14 April 2024), ACT Policing executed a search warrant at a residence in Chisholm with assistance from the AFP’s Tactical Response Team. Yesterday morning (Monday, 15 April 224), police located the 36-year-old resident in Chisholm and he was arrested at the scene. He has been charged with burglary, theft, driving a motor vehicle without consent, driving while unlicensed, impairing electronic communication equipment and breaching a good behaviour order.
