Ohh ahh, we're going to Mardi Gras!

Our officers along with our colleagues at the Australian Federal Police will be joining over 12,000 fabulous marchers and an audience of around 200,000 at the Sydney Mardi Gras tomorrow night to celebrate diversity and support the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and intersex (LGBTI) community.

The AFP also embraces and celebrates diversity in the workforce, and this year is the 20th anniversary of our Gay and Lesbian Liaison Officer (GLLO) network. Since 1996, GLLO’s have been supporting individuals within the organisation as well as the LGBTI community.

Please give our members in blue (and red, green, orange, purple and yellow) a wave as they march among the glitter in the 2016 Sydney Mardi Gras Parade.
