ACT Policing respond to report of a suspicious package

ACT Policing responded to reports of a suspicious package today (29 April).

About 11:00am, police received a report of a suspicious male climbing the front entrance of City Police Station, and place an item on the first floor ledge.

Police partially evacuated the Station, as well as cordoned off London Circuit between West Row and Farrell Place.

While police conducted investigations into the veracity of the report, City Police Station was closed to the public.

Police confirmed no items were located and deemed the area safe.

Investigations are ongoing.
