Cannabis seized following multiple search warrants

ACT Policing has seized trafficable amounts of cannabis following Drugs of Dependence Act search warrants in Chisholm, Monash and Duffy last week.

On Monday, 16 April 2018, General Duties officers executed a search warrant at a residence in Chisholm. A number of jars containing cannabis head and cannabis plants were seized.

A 55-year-old woman will receive a summons for the cultivation and possession of a trafficable quantity of cannabis.

On Tuesday, 17 April 2018, General Duties officers executed search warrants at residences in Monash and Duffy. A number of cannabis plants and drying cannabis were seized in Monash.

A 43-year-old Monash man will receive a summons for the cultivation and possession of a trafficable quantity of cannabis

On Tuesday, 17 April 2018, General Duties officers executed a search warrant at a residence in Duffy. A number of cannabis plants, drying cannabis and stolen property were seized.

A 30-year-old Duffy man will receive a summons for the cultivation and possession of a trafficable quantity of cannabis and unlawful possession of property suspected of being stolen.

ACT Policing will continue to target and disrupt the illicit production, distribution and trafficking of drugs in the ACT.
