CCTV released of alleged offender in Civic coward punch

ACT Policing has released CCTV vision of the alleged offender in the coward punch on London Circuit (Saturday, 26 November). 

About 3am a male was at the taxi rank on London Circuit near Cube night club when he was approached by three male persons. One of the male persons who was behind the victim punched him to the side of the face causing him to fall to the ground.  The male offender immediately fled the scene and was captured on CCTV footage at the corner of City Walk and Akuna Street.

Police arrived on the scene a short time after the assault where they found the male victim with facial injuries. The male victim had been knocked unconscious and after being treated by ACT Ambulance service was transported to the Canberra Hospital where he underwent emergency surgery.
