ACT Policing sought the public’s assistance in identifying a man after an indecent act within the Tuggeranong Hyperdome on Wednesday 26 October.

We would like to thank the Canberra community for their information, we have now identified a person of interest and investigations are continuing.

Man pictured in Tuggeranong Hyperdome CCTV

Police are seeking to identify a man pictured in CCTV after an indecent act within the Tuggeranong Hyperdome on Wednesday 26 October.

About 5pm, a woman alerted Kmart staff that a man had used a mobile phone to film her without her consent in the change rooms. When she had confronted him he had become aggressive and left.

The offender was described as Caucasian man aged in his 20s, of a medium build, approximately 5’7” (170cm) tall and with short brown hair. He was wearing a dark coloured shirt and cream coloured pants.

ACT Policing attended the shopping centre and obtained CCTV from the area. Police would like the public’s assistance to identify the man pictured and to speak with anyone who may have witnessed the incident.
