Drugs seized during Gordon warrant

ACT Policing will summons a 24-year-old man to face the ACT Magistrates Court following a police search of a residence in Gordon last week.

About 6.40am on Friday 26 May, ACT Policing carried out a Drug of Dependence search warrant on a residence in Gordon. Assisted by AFP Canine members, police located drug dealing paraphernalia, cash and substances suspected to be cocaine and MDMA.

During search of a vehicle at the same location police located an amount of cash and a substance suspected to be cocaine.

A 24-year-old Gordon man was taken into police custody and conveyed to City Police Station. He was later released and will be summonsed to face the ACT Magistrates Court at a later date in relation to drug offences.
