Face fit released following Acton robbery

ACT Policing has released a face-fit of a man who allegedly committed a robbery in Acton on Sunday, 21 July 2019.

About 8.30pm, a man entered a business on Marcus Clarke Street and allegedly punched the shop attendant twice in the face before stealing an amount of tobacco products.

The man is described as being Caucasian in appearance, 35-40 years old, about 188cm (6’2”) tall, average build, with dark short facial hair. He was wearing a dark beanie, beige jacket and beige pants.

Police urge anyone who recognises this man, or who may have any information about this incident, to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or via the Crime Stoppers ACT website. Please quote reference 6419687. Information can be provided anonymously.

ACT Policing face-fit is a graphical representation of a face, constructed by an artist working with a witness. A mixture of technology and artistry creates the image, usually from individual facial features which are then put together to come up with a final composite image.
