Fire in Holt deemed suspicious

ACT Policing has deemed a fire at the Kippax Halal Markets on Monday, December 15, as suspicious.

Around 1am on December 15, police and ACT Fire and Rescue attended the shop after a number of people observed smoke coming from the roof cavity of the centre.

ACT Fire and Rescue gained entry to the shop, and extinguished a fire which had started in an office area.

Police are seeking any witnesses who may have seen any persons or vehicles in the area at the time to come forward.
