Man to be charged with the murder of Eden Waugh

ACT Policing homicide detectives have summonsed a 23-year-old Kambah man in relation to the murder of Eden Waugh.

About 7.45pm on Thursday, 3 November 2016, police were notified of a disturbance and an injured man at Windeyer Street in Watson. On arrival, police located a man who had sustained a fatal gunshot wound.

The 23-year-old man is the fifth person charged in relation to this ongoing investigation.

The man will appear in the ACT Magistrate’s Court today (Thursday 23 August 2018) charged with murder (joint commission) and aggravated robbery.

He will also be charged with aggravated burglary and numerous assaults that occurred at the same location on 22 September 2016.

Detective Acting Superintendent Matthew Reynolds said this was another step forward in the investigation.

“We are still urging anyone with information relating to the murder of Eden Waugh to come forward and speak to police,” Detective Acting Superintendent Reynolds said.
