Man charged with causing a false fire alarm

About 2.10pm on Tuesday, 09 January 2018, ACT Policing responded to an audible fire alarm within the Canberra Central Business District.

A 37 year old male person was identified as having falsely activated two fire alarms within the Canberra Centre.

The man was arrested and will appear in the ACT Magistrates Court this morning charged with cause public mischief, give false alarm of fire, and breach of bail.
