Man charged over coward punch

ACT Policing has charged a 20-year-old Braddon man following a 'coward punch' assault that occurred in Civic in the early hours of New Year’s Day (Friday, 1 January).

Following the release of CCTV footage on ACT Policing’s Facebook page, the man handed himself in at City Police Station and assisted police with their investigations.

He was released on bail and will appear in the ACT Magistrates Court on 15 January facing a charge of recklessly inflicting grievous bodily harm.
