Man charged with possession of child exploitation material

A 39-year-old man from Bonner will face court today after being charged with possession of child exploitation material.  

The ACT Joint Anti Child Exploitation Team received information alleging the man was accessing child exploitation material via electronic devices.  

A search warrant was executed at his home in February 2023 and the man was subsequently charged with one count of possession of child exploitation material.  

Multiple electronic devices were seized which are being forensically examined.  

The man is scheduled to appear in the ACT Magistrates Court today (Thursday, 13 April 2023).
