Man to face Court following search warrant

ACT Policing has arrested a 41-year-old man whilst he was attempting to steal copper piping and cabling from a disused premises in Weston yesterday, Friday, 23 December 2016.

Following the arrest, police from Woden Patrol executed a search warrant at the residence of the male, locating and seizing a large quantity of copper piping, cabling and brass fittings.

The man was arrested and conveyed to the ACT Watch House where he was charged with burglary. He will face the ACT Magistrates Court this morning (Saturday, 24 December).
